Republicans are heartless assholes and....

No. Really that's it. If we are to live in a world without war, deprivation and cruelty, someone has to step up and say enough of the Darwinian "my genes kick your jeans ass" and realize that as long as the world provides such intense weapons of cruelty and destruction the underprivileged and disenfranchised will always find a way to level the playing field with acts of destruction. What if, and I'm just fishing here, we spent all the money we spend on the military, wars, death, counterinsurgency, and just played nice guy for ONE year. Give it to the masses for insane things like education, medical care, food, shelter. Just get crazy with it. Blow the money on any philanthropic pursuit that would enhance, not detract from, the perception that America is a largess of bloat. A veritable bag of flatulence, now poked, and leaking foul stench everywhere. No empire lasts forever, and ours is crumbling. Maybe George "Fuck you world" Bush is fiddling as he watches it all burn.

Have you ever noticed.........^

So, I'm listening to the Beastie Boys, contemplating Spring. So much to do, such a huge soul to put to rest. I sit with the ashes of my love, the last earthly remebrance. It weighs a metric ton. I want to dissolve myself of the physicallity of it all. People ask for "closure". How neat to put it all in a bag, call it a name, and move on. There is no closure. A beautiful person was ripped away from me, my family, and my friends. There shall be no "closure" on my part. It will always remain a proof that there is no god, nor moral proving ground for random injustices. Read your Nietsche, and your Kierkegaard. They new best where our soul ends and wishful thinking begins.

World Bicycle relief people. Dig it. And if you want to participate, here it is - http://www.worldbicyclerelief.org That's pretty cool stuff, in a world where we bitch about gas prices, and worry about feeding our cars their precious food, and moan and complain about how long a wait we have in a car jam, someone else is more concerned that they were born as female, and so do not have the same right as a male. What would show them the difference? Mobility. Not depending on a thing that once, purchased, requires the feeding of an infrastructure of parts, fuels, insurance, taxes, laws and tickets, all designed to keep the fires burning for the war machine of oil.
